5 Years + 1 Day Rule - Used to Measure Dates Between Events
When calculating Births and Deaths simply add 1 day from the starting event for every 5 years. There are 331 days on the BR Calendar from October 16, 4115 BC (Day 3 of Creation Week) until the first day of the first month of the year at Creation. This date is Friday September 13 (Julian Dating terminology) and is also Tishri 1 on the Hebrew Calendar. This is the date given in The Bible in Genesis 8:13 as the day that Noah removes the covering on Noah’s Ark in the year 2457 BC on the BR Calendar. The Bible claims there are 1657 years between Creation and The Flood events when Noah takes the Covering off the Ark. Since 1657 divided by 5 is 331, this is an example of an exact match of years given in God’s Word to an exact month and day given is Scripture with a 364 Day Calendar. There are 331 Days on the Bible Reference Calendar (BR) from Day 3 of Creation (October 16) to September 13. Using this same method and Calendar, the student of The Bible can accurately calculate dates from the Flood of Noah to the institution of the first Passover at the time of the Exodus on Friday March 28 - Nisan 10 in the year 1445 BC (BR). Moses provides another good example of this method of dating events. Moses is born on Nisan 1, is 80 years old on Nisan 17, and is 120 years old on Nisan 25 on the (BR) Calendar. By simply adding 1 day to the Calendar for every 5 years, almost all of the events of Scripture from Creation to the Ascension of Jesus in 30 AD can be calculated with precise accuracy. These calculated dates are called Dates From Creation (DFC-Dates).
